Rubrik IPO in 2020? What’s the Valuation?

Rubrik is a cloud data management company based in Palo Alto, California.

There’s been some rumors that Rubrik is interested in selling to another private company.

However, CEO Bipul Sinha wrote in a blog post in October:

“I’d like to address a press article suggesting Rubrik is for sale. This story is completely false. I want to make it unequivocally clear that Rubrik is not for sale. We are committed to building a long-lasting, independent company…

In an age of misinformation, I want to set the record straight: we’re flattered by the attention, but we’re not looking for a buyer.”

So, the next logical step for Rubrik would be to go public.
